About our Fundraising
For the Men's World Cup 2026 predictions competition we are again raising money for charity. Many of you choose to pledge a few pennies per point scored in the game; others prefer a one-off donation. Either way, every contribution helps our two chosen causes.
Crookham Rovers
Crookham Rovers is a grassroots youth football club in North East Hampshire, supporting 24 teams and more than 250 players aged 4 to 23. It is the club I played for as a boy, my son played for, and where I now serve on the committee.
The club provides safe, enjoyable football for boys and girls across the community. Every team coach is qualified to at least FA standards and is DBS checked. We are inclusive: we do not select on ability and we work hard to give as many children as possible access to the game.
We are raising funds towards a 4G pitch so training and matches can continue in all weathers — especially important after the disruption caused by waterlogged grass pitches in recent seasons.
Through JustGiving, your donations are processed quickly and passed to Crookham Rovers. JustGiving lets you cover processing fees if you wish and can claim Gift Aid on your behalf where you are eligible.
Mind
Mind is a mental health charity working across England and Wales. No one should have to struggle alone — with your help, Mind can be there for everyone who needs them: on the other end of the phone, in local communities, and campaigning for better services and support.
I chose Mind again because good mental health matters to all of us. Your donation helps Mind provide information and support, fight for change, and raise awareness so that no one has to face a mental health problem alone.

Examples of what your donation could do (wording from Mind’s donation information):
- £5 could help put Mind’s information in local GP surgeries, helping people to make the crucial first step of asking their doctor for support.
- £10 could help Mind answer calls to the Infoline, providing someone with vital support and information about help in their area.
- £20 could help Infoline advisors pick up the phone to someone with nowhere else to turn.
- £50 could help run Mind’s online peer support community, Side by Side, for one hour, supporting people to connect with others who understand and talk about mental health.
- £100 could help Mind campaign for better mental health services from the Government, so people get the support they need as soon as they need it.
Through JustGiving, your donations are processed quickly and passed to Mind. JustGiving lets you cover processing fees if you wish and can claim Gift Aid on your behalf where you are eligible.
I built triceydotnet because I enjoy running predictions competitions with friends and colleagues, and because I wanted to put my skills to work for good causes. I develop and host this site in my own time, at my own expense, with no advertising.
I hope you enjoy the Men's World Cup 2026 competition and, if you can, give generously — even a small amount makes a difference. Why not encourage friends and colleagues to register too? More players means more fun and more money raised for Crookham Rovers and Mind.
Thank you for visiting this page and for your support. It is hugely appreciated.
