It is easier to play the guitar than win Triceydotnet
North America hosts a huge sprawling tournament, the biggest ever, spanning three countries, sixteen cities, forty-eight teams and a record 104 matches. Starting in Mexico City and ending in New York City, the action will be staged from Mexico to Canada and from coast to coast in the largest tournament in FIFA history. It's easy to be baffled by the scale and the political noise surrounding this competion whether it be controversial pandering peace prizes, ticket prices or air miles. It's easy to feel like a Desperado. The unbridled pleasure and tone of the recent Men's World Cup seems to have a quaint naivete with countries at war playing in their enemy's cities, and every fan being taken for a ride by money grabbing pricing for tickets in the US. So I look to Mexico to provide the colour, the passion, the love in this tournament. A humble country becomes the first to host three World Cups, and if the memories of 1970 and 1986 are anything to go by, some of the greatest moments in World fooball come from the ingredients of the worlds best players and the passion of the fans. With 104 matches and the potential for surprises every match counts in our game, and if you want to have a chance of success in the final on 19 July 2026 (scheduled kick-off from the published fixture list), then you will also need to pick up points for accurate predictions throughout the competition. You score points for predicting the results and scores of every game, as well as picking out the teams who will reach the knockout stages, the semi-finals and ultimately be crowned World Champions. The final feature is The Magnificent Eleven - fantasy football with a dark twist. You score points for the goals your strikers and attacking midfielders score but also clean up for goals conceded by defenders and poor discipline from defensive midfielders and of course fatal penalty misses in the inevitable shootouts in the later stages. This tournament we have expanded to two Magnificent XIs per player so you will score points day to day.
Register and start making predictions now, but you can make changes progressively throughout the tournament with deadlines right up until kickoff of each match.
I have been organising these games since 1994 raising money for charity. Thanks to the generosity of previous supporters we have raised hundreds of pounds at each tournament. You can help us to succeed in raising more by persuading your friends and colleagues to sign up and join in.
Invite your friends, give generously, and enjoy the competition!
